A focus mankind by IVO MEIER
sculptures, paintings and digital artwork

ABOUT THE WORK

All works are about human being. I try to express the inner path out of the darkness and melancholy (silence) back to light and happiness (joy). If you once have found this path, you would find the way out darkness whenever needed in the future - you just have to believe your path. I try to catch the very moment between the silence and joy.

MISSION

"Art becomes art - if it inspires to think about it" - this is most important to me. It is great, if a feedback of a viewer expresses in words what I have tried to express in my artwork, and if he/she expresses something else, I've got another chance to learn something new.

TECHNIQUE

All digital artwork is based on earlyer work (sculptures, paintings and photographs). Either as digital images of them manipulated by various 2D or 3D-Tools or totally (re-)created with the computer - the results become new artpieces from another point of view.
