Refraction of light, color, textures and surface reflections of objects removed from their natural environment and placed in a space of unnatural reality are the focal points of my images.
The interactions of nature and the infinite detail that exists in our universe has been the major influence behind my work.
My digital work evolved from a traditional art background using traditional materials such as oil, acrylic, watercolor, pencil, charcoal, pen and ink, etc..
The computer opened a wonderful new way of applying those same abilities, ideas and techniques of color, surface texture, knowledge of light, shadows, reflections, and how all those elements affect the surface of objects in the computer/digital medium.
